Stayed here for daughters wedding (also at CBR) and could not have been happier. Accommodation excellent, location superb, gorgeous food in restaurants, wonderful friendly staff in both bar, restaurant and house staff. Helpful reception staff always willing to assist. Management very friendly, and accommodating, and an awesome wedding planner in Kura. Had the most awesome time at Crown Beach Resort. Highly recommended, both as a wedding venue and a holiday destination. Fantastic!!!

Long, long flight from the UK but it was well worth it! The location is on the sunset side of the island although it is not a problem as the island is only 13km in circunference. The hotel is within 70m of the reef which made the lagoon intermingled with coral and rocks but this made it ideal to snorkel for fish (no sharks inside the lagoon). The staff are very vary friendly and cannot do enough for you and are liberal with the alcohol in the cocktails. There is plenty to do on the island but best of all is the Safari and the 1 day excursion to Aitituki which is gorgeous but full of biting flies.

Clockwise/Anti Clockwise Buses Take these buses which run around the island on an hourly basis.

Take plenty of money :o) Shopping and dining is very expensive, make sure you take plenty of disposable money for your trip so you can get the most out of it (and so you can bring home some gifts to remember the place by).
