Great cab driver If you are not with a tour group and would like to explore the city and its surrounding on your own, we would like to recommend the cab driver who took us round, Mr. Bai Wei Dong 13909217629. He is a very careful driver and took the innitiative to take us to interesting local places. However, He only speaks Chinese.

Bell and Drum Tower, Big Wild Goose Pagoda and Terra Cotta I think the three main attractions are the main attraction in the city of Xian which I enjoyed learning the history of the place and of course the added Tang Dynasty Stage Show.

buying a terra cotta warrior Don't buy one at the hotel, and don't buy one at the workshop or at the dig site. Every shop in town has a variety of them in size and color, so be patient and get a decent price.I intend to go back to the neighborhood by the old academy next to the city wall and get one there when I return.
