A very good hotel with helpful staff. Noise from nearby building work is a problem at the moment. The buffet breakfast needs a better choice. This hotel gives 1st class service with central location.

The location is good. A few blocks from the MTR. The room is quite big considering Hong Kong standard. Rooms are a bit old.

Top Local Tips for Hong Kong

Take the train Take the train from airport. It is the best and easiest. Got a free shuttle to major hotels. MTR for city transport, especially during rush hour. Traffic is getting worse. Taxi is convenient and ample of them but you will hit into traffic jam during rush hour.

Final Thought I love the independent companies, but in this case I got a bad deal. In this case a responsible hotel manager would have helped- even the local police thought this guy was wrong! Take my last advice, ask your travel agent for the Holiday Inn or the YMCA- they are not pretty but at least they treat you very well there. Good thing you have a good location. You lost our business for next year. No second chances with these guys.

mtr the subway system and public transportation system in hong kong is very well developed and nicely organized although very crowded. it is very well layed out for tourist to fallow with computerized maps and knowledgable attendents at every station. i would advise getting a 3 day round trip octupus pass from the airport it covers round trip airport transfer and unlimmited mtr use for 300 hong kong dollars (about $40 us)
