It sucks big time... cockroaches didn't even considered staying there... n the carpeted floor is so sticky with don't know what! The curtain is older than my granny's underpants from the 40s. The toilet ain't any betta. The air con has 3 levels of adjustments which apparently has e same setting. The motels in Singapore is like a million times better. I didn't' even dare to open the closet to the fridge cos it seems like it's inhabitants has been poisoned by the dirt. The wardrobe has seen better days too.... it sucks big time!

I have never stepped into a room so filthy and small. After depositing our luggage, we can hardly walk. The standard of the room and facilities is equivalent to a motel! The fridge looks ancient and unhygienic...
The only good thing about this hotel is the location. The toilet is the only best feature of the room but it is equivalent to the standard of the typical toilets in the shopping mall in Singapore.

Stay away

Greasy, sleazy, stay away! On rip-off street Nathan Road, amidst the Camera-stores with their well-earned reputation of "no service - high price" lays the '"Imperial" hotel. Three stars - well, one would be more appropriate - this hotel offers microscopic, run down rooms (even for HK standards) with bathrooms not worth the name (because who would ever take a bath there??) and dirty carpets and walls. The whole hotel is so run-down in fact that it badly needs a renovation since at least 20 years. The prices are ridiculously high (we paid 1240 HK$ in december 2007, room booked through Asia travel) for this location, the rooms not worth half this price. Stay away and look for another hotel, with clean rooms and most of the time a better rate.
Never, ever again

The only good thing about this hotel is its location because it was right on Nathan Road.
The room and the bathroom were incredibly small. The room had a funny smell. The corridors were narrow and the lift was small, too.
The front desk staff were rude. When I asked the lady at the tour desk how to get to Victoria Peak, she asked me if I wanted to join a tour. When I declined, she turned cold and just said I can take the MTR to Central and take the Peak Tram.
Suffice to say I'm never, ever staying at this hotel. I won't mind spending more for a more decent hotel because the USD76 I paid per night was too much for this kind of hotel.

No, just no. Find somewhere else, call of your trip, spend all day out at the better attractions of Hong Kong, just spend as little time as you can in the hotel while fulfilling what you want.
forget cheap chep Hong Kong is an expensive place so if you are travelling on a budget I suggest to visit another country otherwise expect a good hotel for approx. 100 until 150 USD per night.
yeah if you're not going to mainland , China or places as far as that, use the mtr. It's really convenient and nice. It's affordable, but not cheap, but it will save you time on taxi chasing and traffic surfing.
