As it's on a hilltop of a no-through road, no taxis will be there waiting while there is no conceirge people to help, terrible on a rainy day that you have to walk down the steep hill to get a taxi in your business outfit. I missed a morning meeting as they 'forgot' to give me the morning call I requested, on top of that, no sincere apologies made, the service is not what you will look for there!

Your hotel location can change your entire HK experience. Hong Kong, on business is by far one of the best cities on Earth. On a vacation, it's just another beautiful big city that has to mostly offer stunning views and good food and wine. Getting around in HK is usually on it's most efficient MTR metro and on foot. Therefore, even moving up or down one particular street can change your entire HK experience. Choose a hotel carefully and must be closely located to any MTR station or some places you wish to visit. Else, your entire HK experience may not be as worthwhile.

Public transport easily accessible Travelling around Kowloon is very easy and we walked to most places. The star ferry costs very little and will take you straight to main part of Hong kong. The tram service is very easy to identify due to the easy to follow signs which are all over the place! The tram to Victoria Peak is very cheap a regular service is operated. There is a bus which can be taken from the star ferry to victoria peak tram station, but it is only a short 15 minute walk otherwise.
