Temple Street Night Market This gets touted in many of Hong Kongs promo materials as a must see with street theatre, amazing food and stalls selling a variety of electronic, fashion and everyday items blah blah blah...In reality it is rubbish, the stalls and products are tired and over priced. So many other places around the world do this so much better. Maybe I went on a night that wasnt that busy (no street theatre) and not many stalls but I was in and out within 15 minutes, a total waste of time..I wasnt expecting the grand bizarre and only went to get a mate a fake Rolex, but the one stall that sold them wanted $350hk and they were the worst I had ever seen, I just laughed and moved on..yeah really dissapointed with this one..Furthermore the hygeine around many of the food places here was medieval, one stall selling all kinds of stuff had the chef smoking whilst frying his wok and the dis interested female accomplice picking her nose...nice...
Go to Lo Wu Take a train to Lo Wu Commercial city from Hong Kong to buy great fakes. Don't waste your time at Stanley Market, Ladies Market or Temple Street Market.
Time to vist Hongkong We usually go to Hongkong for our Annual Family Reunion which I started 3 years ago with my husband who is from Hongkong in January or February when it is cold.This is the first time to travel to HK in Sept-October. Seems to me it is too hot for us.
