Top Local Tips for Hong Kong

Affordable sushi Try Sen-ryo at the IFC mall. There was a 30-40 minute wait even at 9pm and 2:30 pm (the 2 times we went) which I think speaks to the quality. It is super affordable and really decent sushi. about 40$ for 2 of us to eat all we wanted.

What to do at night/day If your inclined to hit the bars/clubs the scene is great. Central is best for a somewhat "classier time" set of bars and clubs etc whiel Wanchai is more like the Timesquare bar scene. Both fun.. dont get me wrong//but Central is better. Ask for Jake at the Hyatt Concierge and he hooks you up to get on th guest list at the better clubs...which you will need. If you have never been to HK.. bring an empty suitcase and see what you come home with from the Kowloon street markets. Yeah some stuff is counterfiet.. but there are a TON of clothes that are just made in China so the excess is sold at the markets. Billabong, Deisel, etc for dudes.. tons of clothes for women.. and electronics, etc . I was a little overwhelmed by it all. Do not miss the ladies market area ( no its not just for ladies) and Temple night market awesome!

The star ferry is as good as everyone says The star ferry is a perfect way to cross the harbor. It is cheap, fast, and convenient. It offers some great views of Hong Kong, and it delivers a breeze on a steamy day.
