Top Local Tips for Hong Kong
Hygiene Hygiene's become really important in Hong Kong. No spitting etc rules. I always had a small tube of hand sanitizer with me. It was really useful!
Bus from airport to Regal Riverside There is a bus the A41 (Airbus) direct from the Airport to Shatin. It takes around 50mins but is only $20hkds (about £1.30) it has plenty of space for your luggage and literally drops you at the door to the hotel (across the road, nip under the underpass and your there). They run quite frequent we caught it to and from the airport with no hassel at all
Eating and Drinking The hotel food and minibar prices are relatively high. You can very easily try the food shops/restaurants on the street behind the hotel or if you go for a walk to the New City Plaza there are all your usual western food outlets! Also the minibar has plenty of space so you could buy 8 cans of coke for about £2 from one of the local supermarkets and fit them into the minibar - just make sure you only drink the ones you have bought!
