a very nice hotel, room was excellent and maid staff excellent, but hotel reception staff not very helpful. The breakfast not very good. The price was very good. If the reception staff had been good we would have given this hotel a 9 out of 10.

Top Local Tips for Hong Kong

Octopus Before you do anything else, get yourself an Octopus Card and then you can go wherever you like. Public transport in HK is first class, so take advantage of it.

Did not like the Vegetarian meal at the Budda Statue I would not recommend the meal at the Budda Statue. We hardly ate anything and had to stop at the MCDonald's just before the ferry. I am not a real picky eater but I really did not enjoy the meal at all. My friend enjoyed her meal at the Teahouse down from the Budda. We enjoyed our trip it was incredible but we missed out on the skycab and took the bus up and down to the Budda.

tram If you want to go to Causeway Bay, Ocean Park, or anywhere in HK island. Take the tram! Cheap and easy to find! Good for sightseeing, too. :)
