Top Local Tips for Hong Kong
Trip to Victoria Peak It's best to see Hong Kong both during the day as well as at night. There might be a long line waiting to take the Peak Tram at night. If you have some extra cash, buy the tickets to go to Madaam Trussad's wax museum. You automatically get to the front of the line and the wax figures are hilarious!!!
trains stick to the train...great subway system..also a high spped rail from the airport
Take the airport train to your hotel It's faster to take the airport train to your downtown hotel than to take a cab or a private car. You'd first take the airport train to a downtown train station and then take a cab to your hotel. The train is fast, clean and efficient.

As we found the switch for the gate, we tried to open the gate by ourselves. As soon as we tried to open it, we got yelled by the two cleaning staff. They claimed that they were responsible to watch over the gate, so nobody could open it without permission. While we were being scolded and yelled by them, someone from the Security Office ¡§finally¡¨ show up and let us go. Again, we didn't receive any apologies from anyone in this incident. And it had taken us almost an hour to leave this terrible place.
In short, there are few mysteries that keep coming into my mind:
1. What makes the cleaning staff to play the role as security guard in an acclaimed 5 Star Hotel? I doubt that you would like to stay in this kind of hotel
2. Is it because we are not the client, so we deserve this impolite and inattentive services and attitude from the hotel's staff?
3. To my understanding, "Security" implies 24/7 attentiveness, especially for a high-graded service industry. I doubt that you would like keep high alertness as a traveler.
