This hotel is mty regular Hong Kong hotel, I can recommend it, the only problems here have been to remember to close the bathroom door as the steam can and will set off the firsensor in the bedroom..... If you are a single traveller, I recommend NOT to accept the smaller rooms, unless its a one night stopover. The excutive rooms are well worth the extra money, except be warned the breakfast hours in the excutive lounge are shorter than the restaurant. I have never had a problem with cleanliness of rooms nor responsiveness of staff to any request. I have ocassionaly stayed elsewhere but keep returning to this hotel, its location is great and rates are reasonable...

Top Local Tips for Hong Kong

Disneyland, Ocean Park, Ngong Ping, Transport Disneyland was better than I had expected. We had 5 children 6,8,13,15 and 17. We were there for opening, and left at close and didn't have time for everything. We chose to go on an off peak day, which was great as it was quieter. Prepaid for tickets on the net, inserted my credit card into machine and tickets printed. Used fast pass, this was very useful. Ocean Park was great. Atoll reef, jelly fish displays, cable car, a full day really. Most info spots said half day. We were there until close, and didn't go into the young childrens area at all. 3 d movie was excellent. We didn't get to go to Ngong Ping, as the day we went to go we were advised that we should have booked, and the cable car was sold out. No point getting all the way out there to find out that you cannot go up to the top. Don't bother with booking shuttles. The train service is great. Goes into Kowloon, and a free shuttle takes you to your hotel.

Washing If travelling with young kids - note there are no coin washing machines available in HK or disneyland at all. You must pay hotel prices. This can cost LOTS. Take a small travel line and washing powder. With 4 kids and 2 adults for 12 days we did find this a BIG problem

TRANSPORT FROM AIRPORT Just catch the train, we got the hotel bus but it took forever and stopped at a few other hotels and also didnt leave the airport straight away. But we took the complimentary bus to Kowloon station from the hotel then caught the train straight to the airport and you check in and get rid of your luggage at the train station. It was really easy and efficient and the only way to go.
