Beware of Dishonest Merchants. Buy from reputable stores in shopping malls. The price may be a bit higher but you will get what you paid for. In case you opt to buy from outside the malls, make sure that what you paid for is really what is placed in the box. KEEP YOUR EYES ON THE ITEM YOU INSPECTED!!!

Airport Express This is a fantastic service unmatched in any other city I know of. Don't get a cab from the airport. This is cheap, quick, clean and very efficient. When departing, also make sure to use in town check in. You can check into your flight at Hong Kong station in the morning, have a day of business, go out for dinner and then catch the train through for your plane. Magic.

wear comfortable shoes i bought shoes both times i was in hk this year. you walk a lot... actually more like hiking a lot. Hk is very mountainous. Also, print out the map or write the words in mandarin. The taxi drivers dont know the english words (i tried saying des veoux road in french, and then tried it phonetically & they didnt know wat it is).
