Public Transportation Buy / Loan Octupus Card, it's mandatory!! Excelent MTR! Taxi is fair price, also an option! Must try Star Ferry to cross from Kowloon to HK Island!
cheap easy transport Taxis in the area were great value and honest.Best to carry a map for easy instructions if there is a language problem.I found the drivers very honest and helpful
Be Careful When Dining at Tak Kee Seafood Restaurant near Evergreen Hotel The owner was so rude when it was time for me to pay. Instead of HKD70, he demanded HKD100 ANGRILY and rudely yanked the bill from my hand! He was also throwing the cans of cola from my table to the sidewalk. I don't know what I did, but I was carefully eating according to Chinese customs to avoid offending them. But this blatant rudeness is unacceptable! If someone knows why this old, bald owner became very rude, please let me know. I'm too traumatised to try another HK restaurant and I'd rather eat at McDonald's everyday for my next HK vacation =(
