Swift c/in for us. We qualified for E-Club usage as we had the Grand Suite. Fantastic E-Club Mgr Mimi Cheung. Food in restaurants were great. Best of all, housekeeping kept our rooms very clean & laundry was back on time. Thank U all for making our family stay (with kids) a memorable one.

Top Local Tips for Hong Kong

Shuttle to Airport Book your luggage in at train station any time on day of departure. Boarding cards given to you and then shuttle will take you straight into airport whenever you are ready. Octopus card saves all the hassle when using underground, buses etc. Pick one up at any undergroung station

The Peak (minus all the commercial glitz) A trip to the peak on the tram seems a must-do for many. But when you get there you are greeted by the new mutli level shopping emporium which has nothing to do with seeing Hong Kong and everything to do with sucking as much money out of your wallet as possible. Make a bee-line off the tram to the rear of the shopping complex and go for a lovely long stroll along the paved level pathway that, if you follow it far enough, goes right round the Peak and offers a tranquil, forested (and hence much cooler) way to see the sprawling city below you. Birds sing in the trees, and there are stunning panoramas if you walk a few hundred meters along the path. Its far less crowded than the Peak Galleria, and its free! (and healthy)
