Beautiful Longsheng While in Guilin, besides the spectacular Lijiang River cruise, and cave trips, be sure to take the drive up to the Longsheng area. There are beautiful mountain views on the way up, and once there you can climb the stairs for a stunning view of terraced rice paddies. There is also river rafting available in the area.

bar street Bar street is about a 20 minute walk from the hotel, but taxis are really cheap cost about 7 yuan (about 60pence) Get a card off your hotel with address in Chinese as communication is very difficult. Drinks are about European prices on bar street.
