That guy with his intestines hanging out laying on the street is a fake. When we were walking down one of the main streets, there was a guy laying on a sheet, dressed in normal clothes but he had some stuff sticking out the bottom of our shirt. Our tour guide said that the sign he had said he couldn't afford to go to the hospital and to please help. This was kind of a sight for me at least. Our tour leader informed us that since China hospitals won't take you unless you can proove that you can pay and have insurace so beggars use this to their advantage. At first I was like there is no way a guy who has his intestines exposed sitting in 90 degree heat could possibly survive long if he really did need to go to a hospital. Then, to further confirm our tour guide's point, this guy had moved to a new location 2 days later and set up shop. There are quite a lot of different beggars set up through town. There was a lady literally crawling on the street through the muslim quarter begging for money. Just a warning, it can be quite shocking especially for kids
