Enjoy the Chaos We enjoyed visiting the Wat Phnom, a temple right across the street from the Sunway. The surrounding park has monkeys living in the trees. You can catch a tuk-tuk (a motorcycle hauling a small carriage) to a variety of places for $3 to $5 locally and $10 to the edge of town. We recommend the Russian Market for great deals on gifts. Save a visit to the Killing Fields and the Genocide Museum until your last day, because they can be depressing. The culture of the town is amazing.

Rainy season to go or not? Sure it is really hot and humid and rains sometime but it doesn't really worry you that much. In fact to avoid all the tourists and crowds we would always choose to go at this time of year. Just be prepared. Get fit, take plenty of water, dress in cotton clothes, take a hat, wear sandals.
