Brunei transports The only real 24h public transportation in Brunei are taxis. But they are very, very expensive. Buses only run from morning till 18h, no matter what the hotel staff say or even some bus drivers. I remember one bus driver telling me that the last bus from Gadong (the ONLY place in Brunei were you can have some fun late at night, say till 23h/00h) to BSB was at 22h. Well, at Gadong no one knew that late bus (the last one, like in all Brunei, was at 18h) and i had to take another very expensive taxi. Boats are ok, but for obvious reasons limited. Conclusion, public transports in Brunei are a little bit as the country itself: expensive (taxis), boring and tourist unfriendly. The only good reason to visit Brunei apart from the jungle, is the stamp in the passport.
