We had a 2 night stay in IC king spa room. Lovely room and spa bath. Pool and health spa facilties excellent. Executive lounge with complimentary drinks very relaxing with good service. Atrium breakfast has great selection although waiters very slow with tea/coffee. Room service phoneline operators were not at all helpful when our room had not been cleaned - we had to wait till 7 pm for our room to be cleaned! Check-in/out v quick. Will definately return.

Unfortunatley this was terrible from beginning to end!! Booked online on the Priority Club website, all good. Called to enquire about extra night stay was quoted price and decided it was too expensive. Arrived at Burswood Priority Check in to a lady who did not remove her eyes from the computer screen and proceeded to tell us that we had booked two rooms (they thought when we enquired about another night that we were somehow booking another room?? No - only one King Club Room. Had to wait for that to be sorted 30 minutes - their mistake. Room view over car park with great spa but old furniture and loud television heard until 2am next door. Went to Burswood for the Kylie concert, Gold reserve tickets but couldn't see show or screens!!! I have never seen so many people leave a concert. Asked for late check out but told I had to call the next morning to ask for it. Called next morning but told no (even as a Priority Club member). Called to receive instant Check out but was told that my accomodation came to $324.00 when I had already paid $304.00 online a month earlier. So she said I would have to go downstairs and sort it out on checkout. Waited in checkout queue for half an hour, said that I was incorrectly charged and the lady proceeded to say "oh yes for the breakfast" I said "No for the room". So they stuffed up the room billing and the complementary breakfast!! We then had to wait another 30 minutes for our car to be brought around!!! Cost for a terrible night $580.00 never again!!
Not to mention breakfast at the atrium with 8 waiters walking back anf forth but not removing piled plates from your table and bloody cargo trolleys going back anf forth though the main dining area. How can this resort be 5 star???

Top Local Tips for Perth

Travel in Perth See Kings Park. The Kakoda trail is good walk and bridge in park wonderful. Takes about 20min to walk to from city.The city rail system is good, cheap and effective. Trip to Freemantle is about $3.60.In Freemantle catch the FREE CAT bus that does a circuit around town.

Watch the driver! We took a taxi from the Domestic Airport at Perth to the hotel. The driver was arrogant and hardly spoke although did ask for confirmation of our destination. Then, he drove right by it!! As we had stayed in Perth before, we knew this was not the quickest route. Not sure if this was going to be some kind of scam but WATCH OUT!

Free Public Transport Public transport in the CBD and West Perth is free. Just hop on any bus, or the special red, yellow and blue CATS.
