Quiet And Ideally Situated For The Rail Station

Very friendly staff (we were given a free room upgrade), good food, rooms were quite spacious and kept clean. Rooms were a little too hot as the air con could not be left on when leaving and took a long time for the room to cool down. Hotel was ideally situated for the rail station which was just over the road but was a little bit out of the way from the main town streets, although it was walk able.

Top Local Tips for Kalgoorlie

Forget the Bus If you wish to travel to Kal from Perth we found the best way was by train. We went there on the train and returned by bus. The bus trip was long, gruelling and boring, whereas the train was comfortable and snacks/meals and drinks were available to purchase.

Mining Museum Well worth visiting - its the only way to go down a mine in Kalgoorlie!
