I found the Flag inn to be clean and tidy and well located to the nightlife in Ballarat. The room was comfortable with adequate facilities but nothing to distinguish it from other hotels. To be fair however the cost was minimal and so it was good value for money. I would recommend it to anyone taking a short break in the area who was not spending too much time in the room or expecting silver service.
