Stayed here for the Adelaide Festival of Arts on the recommendation of a friend who held her wedding reception here and raved about it. Wasn't sure what to expect, but was very impressed with the restored 1920s facade, striking Annette Bezor painting in reception and eclectic furniture in the big open-plan bar/restauarnt. Also had a balcony overlooking Rundle Mall - good for people watching!
Was the closest hotel I could see to the Festival venues - Art Gallery, East End, Museum. Reasonably priced for a four-star hotel too, especially considering most places had hiked up their rates for the Festoval period.
Will definitely be back next year.

Dining at the Brasserie at the Hilton The Brasserie at the Hilton was fantastic. We heard about the Brasserie as we watch The Cook and the Chef on TV. The Chef in the title is executive chef at the BRasserie. So impressed with our dinner. From the menu, we could tell that the chef takes a lot of care in sourcing his produce - and it showed in the meal. This is saying a lot because I'm very critical when it comes to food!
