Do not ever stay at the Bayview Towers in Yeppoon, we supposedly had a re-furbished room which was a joke. The bathroom stunk, tiles were falling off the walls, the curtains were 12 inches too short for the window, furniture was ancient, breakfast was disgusting with one member of staff sneezing over food, dining room decor odd to say the least and the staff looked like they had lost the will to live beacuse of constant complaining from guests. When we approached the manager regarding the problems, we were told we could leave if we didnt like it.

Price was very expensive for the quality of the room and the view was the only thing going for the entire hotel. Bathroom had mold, curtains (at least we had them - our friend did not!) were falling apart, carpet threadbare in many places, smelly. Dank, dark and in desperate need of updating and an overhaul of service standards.

Great weekend with a lovely room with ocean views
clean and comfortable. The staff was freindly and the Restaurant meal was excellent. Walking distance to beach. We will be back

Worst hotel experience of my life - rooms & furn filthy & in poor repair. Ours had cracked toilet bowl & smelled like public toilet. Taps had green residue.Definitely not worth what you pay. Top it off with staff who could not care less. Try Rydges or Marcolina apartments. Much better value
