You will be hard pressed to find such a good hotel

Visited the plaza in April 2007, was very impressed with the fantastic service which began at the reception desk and carried through to the bar and restaurant staff across my entire stay.
The rooms were clean, spacious and tastefully furnished, there was also a nice view of the Cathedral from my window.
The meals at the restaurant were fast, tasty and fairly priced. The bar staff were also friendly to chat whilst enjoying a drink.
I ordered room-service in the morning and was impressed by the prompt arrival of my tasty breakfast.
I got speaking to the receptionist on departure and was not surprised to discover their has been new ownership/management at the Plaza and it became clear that the standards are improving.
I will stay again whenever visiting Rockhampton! You will be hard pressed to find many 4 star Hotels at affordable rates which such great service.
