Chieck In Times - arriving early with kids Most hotel check in times are 2pm. Therefore if you can help it - try not to arrive at the hotel before that time because, even though you can probably store your bags at the hotel, it is unlikely that you will be able to check into your room. Thus it is recommended to book airflights etc, so you arrive after check-in time. However, if you have kids and arrive prior to check in time, take a separate bag with kids bathers and towels and food / drink. Therefore when you arrive at the hotel, store your luggage and go and use the hotels facilities - such as the pool. Enjoy a nice lunch next to the pool and then have a nice swim / play in the pool while waiting to be able to check into your room.

Best gelati in the world Go to Milano's Gelateria in Caloundra. I have eaten gelati all over the world (and lots in Italy) and this is by far the best I've ever had. Made with quality ingredients, to traditional recipes and made with love onsite. If you really love gelati, you have to go to Milano's.
