A big mistake to book without a recommendation. Nothing at all like the video available on the net. No BBQ, pool not usable, rooms dirty, no room service in 10 days, fridge not working properly, air con too noisy to use etc. & all at top dollar! Not recommended.

Top Local Tips for Cairns
A place to get away from it all. I personally believe that all the hall-marks point to Palm Cove heading in the same direction as Noosa Heads 30 years ago. It is tranqual still, but over the last few years the big money has moved in. It is an idealic location with tranqual waters soft afternoon breeze great places to eat, not to busy with people yet?. You can go to the reef direct from the local jetty and a bus will take you to town if you do not have your own transport.The township is modern, clean, safe, and a great escape.
