Top Local Tips for Cairns

Cairns, the best place to visit the Great barrier reef If you want to go to the Great barrier reef.....well you must go there....the best place to stay is Cairns....they have many, many organized trips from there....The Great barrier reef is a MUST place to see.....even if you don't scuba dive, you can go snorkeling or with a glass boat if you have kids....it really is a unique experience that you will never forget....the fish are so colourful and if you get lucky you will see sharks....we did....but no worries, they are harmless......... there are many more things to do in Cairns believe me......we stayed there for 6 days...but it would be great to stay some more time....you should visit a nice village Kuranda...I suggest that one way you travel with skyrail from which you can really see the rain forest and one way you should travel with the scenic railway....that is a great experience.....oh and go to Cape Tribulation on safari and on the river full of crocodiles...it's better to go there on a sunny day, the crocks love the sun.....ENJOY
