Broncos match Try to get to Lang Park (Suncorp Stadium) to see a Brisbane Broncos rugby league match if it's in season (March-September). The atmosphere is terrific and the people of Brissy really love their team (go Melbourne Storm though!).

Do not expect to take a cab anywhere on a weekend night On weekends nights it is almost impossible to book a cab as there is a huge influx of young people in town partying and the few cab outfits there are , are simply not available. We waited hours for a cab, it never did show up despite a several calls to the cab company ensuring us it would be there within 15 minutes. We ended up walking to our destination.
