What I am sure of is that I had a nice stay at this hotel. The reception and checkout were nice, so was the breakfast at Fat Arnie's, its restaurant. The Internet facilities on the ground floor were nice , too. The hotel is located on the busy Pacific Highway, but the street noise was a non-issue. There was none, no doubt in part because the rooms do not face the highway.
It does seem to be rather understaffed, at least on weekends. A very nice guy called Dave seemed to almost single-handedly run the multi-floored premises on the weekend I was there. There were a few other employees present, but Dave seemed the be the main man there. This did result in places such as Fat Arnie's and the bar being shut (though I easily got a drink on request) and the lobby area having an empty feel about it on the Saturday night that I was there. A pity really, though Internet users get a nice quiet session at the Internet terminal there. (This does need to be paid for , by the way, and a special password is required)
All in all, you can certainly do a lot worse than this hotel if you want to stay near Chatswood on the weekend.
