The hotel that I actually stayed is in Parramatta at the corner of Parkes Street and Valentine Avenue. Apparently this hotel is not listed under the Pacific International search. The price is quite reasonable, and is conveniently and strategically located near the bus station / railway station and Westfield shopping complex. A mere 5 minutes walk, I would say. Going through the map of the Parramatta CBD, you will realise that the Rivercat Ferry terminal is about 25 minutes walk away. The Rivercat will take you to Circular Quay and you get to see the Darling harbour, Sydney Opera House and the Harbor Bridge. The restaurant however is not that great with limited menu. Anyway, why bother, when the Westfield complex offers a wide range of almost everything. Services from the staff was exceptional good

Sydney Theatre Company Excellent theatre company, wonderful performances with great effects, cast and crew.
Options There are plenty of places to eat around the area, in Darling Harbour, or a short walk to Circular Quay or somewhere in the city. However, the rooms have a pretty well equipped kitchen, so if you don't feel like going out to eat, or for example breakfast, take advantage of your inroom facilities. There is a Woolworths supermarket just up the road (2 minutes walk), or a seven11 about 1 minute away. Also, public transport is easy, and very convenient, but walk. Seriously, you see so much more, Circular Quay is about 20 mins walk away, and The Rocks a bit more.
Sydney Pass If you plan to travel about the city and its environs then a 'Sydney Pass' which covers bus train and ferry is worth considering. They can be purchased at train stations and certain bus stops.
