Good location (easy and fast airport access), but small, partly not completely clean, unattractive view from the window, moderate restaurant quality, too expensive for what you get (if this is 3-star-quality I'm curious to see what is 1-star-quality)

Top Local Tips for Sydney
eating in mascot some cheap eating in the main shopping strip of mascot. About a 10 minute walk from the hotel. Nothing else in the area really.
Get a street directory I missed a turn on the way to my hotel. Had to back track to get back. A street directory would have made it easier.
great train service Quick and easy train travel from Mascot to Sydney attractions. Helpful staff at train station.
