This is not a 3 star hotel - it is a guest house - the shared (male and female) bathrooms are gross and smelly - we booked it via Virgin Blue so expected it would be of a certain standard - not so - can't believe they have it as an accommodation option - yes, it looks quaint from the outside, but inside you think you've finally made it to a backpackers lodging - if you are on an extreme budget, it is probably good value as it is only a couple of minutes from Circuleur Quay by Ferry - you need to also be very fit - the climb from the ferry and a similar climb to the shopping centre will leave you breathless unless you are a trained athlete - we had the top dollar suite ($159 a nite) but some of the rooms are around $60 - irrespective, you still share the bathrooms - if you arrive earlier then book in time you'll also need to pay to book your luggage in a locker - a mighty climb from the bottom stairs to the top floors, believe me - some of the rooms on the lower floors were open and from what I saw, very depressing - again, I'm not saying this isn't for everyone - backpackers would be rapt if they were paying $60 a nite ...

Sydney ferry The Glennferrie Lodge is just 5 minutes away from the ferry to Circular Quay, thé lovely area with the Opera House, the Harbour Bridge and the shops.
ONE OF THE BEST PLACE TO VISIT. Sydney is a great vacation spot for individuals, groups, families and others as well. The people are very friendly and helpful. The place is clean and prices are not high. There is always a family ( 2 adults 2 children) discounted price in every theme park, museum, tour etc. Food , shopping , tours , various places of interest are in plenty to enjoy. Nature is at its best and specially the way the Australians love animals and nature is just great. HAVE FUN AND ENJOY.
What a great city ! ! The access to so many wonderful sites was so easy and fun too.
