Top Local Tips for Sydney
go around Go around the city...you must go on the Sydney tower, the view is amazing.....of course you can not miss the Opera house, the botanical gardens, the Sydney tower bridge. I recommend you by a bus ticket for Bondi and Sydney, called Bondi or Sydney explorer. It's a hop on hop off bus that takes you to most famous Sydney places and of course Sydney beaches. The bus has a frequency of 20-30 minutes. It's a very good way to see the city. If it's a rainy day....go to the Sydney aquarium...it's wonderful....oh, you can buy a ticket for Sydney tower and the Aquarium together...it is cheaper. If you spend some more time in Sydney go watching the whales...a unique experience....but I strongly advise you to take the sickness pill.....and go to the Blue Mountains.....beautiful....ENJOY!
Plan it out! There are many shops in sydney CBD so make sure you take a map with you and if there are any certain shops you want to find, find out where they are first. We walked around for 5 hours because we got lost in so many streets. Also make sure you know how you are getting back to your hotel ie, what train and time it comes or where you bus stop is. If you're walking far from the city central you wont want to walk home after shopping all day, sore feet!
Cremorne Point Walk If you like walking, take the ferry to Cremorne Point, then take the Cremorne Point Walk. It's easy, pretty and unforgettable.
