(Sydney). July 2007. This is appalling, noisy accommodation. You would be advised to not even go there. No hot water for 4 nights and alternative arrangements made with local swimming baths! New owner would be advised to close the place and refurbish completely. It has been stripped of its Golden Chain status and NRMA 3 stars (despite what you read on various websites) and quite right too. Dark, dingy rooms with dripping taps, glasses not clean each day and no milk left some days. Inaffective manager but very helpful individual staff. Filthy laundry room. Suggest that the owner stays there overnight instead of his luxury accommodation in Double Bay!
