Beautiful room, great location

My husband and I stayed at the Stellar Suites for 2 nights Jan.2006. Nicely renovated, beautiful modern bathroom and rooms nicely finished. Definitely recommend this place.
Horrible beds

We paid for 2 nights, but only stayed one because the bed was horrible, and so was the sleeper sofa. We did not sleep well at all. Other than that, the room was okay. The bathroom was small. The free breakfast was nice, but the eating area was crowded and we had to wait on the food to be replenished.

Top Local Tips for Sydney
sightseeing use the sightseeing tour bus service. A good value way to get around all the sights, including Bondi beach.
Excellent transportation system Sydney is a lovely city as are all the Australian major cities we visited. If I were to use one word to describe Australia it would be "clean". It is amazingly clean everywhere. Their transportation system within cities is excellent with many choices. People are friendly and helpful when asked for directions. Rather expensive everywhere we went, but well worth it.
Wheels & Doll Baby on Crown Street for the most amazing dresses and funky, stylish and classic pieces for the modern pin up girl :)
