Travellers beware of staying at this hotel. Our experience was that Milparinka itself very interesting - the hotel extremely overpriced $130 for very basic shed without amenities - no camping or access to power for your van. Heaps of biting mozzies in the room (no screens). Our daughter had welts all over her face for a week after our stay. Smelly sheets and beds. Try staying at Theldarpa station or Packsaddle - both we discovered after this bad experience and wished we had known before staying at Milparinka Hotel. Happy travelling!
