Quad bikes Grab a tour with Outback Quad Adventures. It's a quad bike tour on an actual working cattle station just out of Alice. Great stuff.

Desert Springs Desert Park The park opens at 7:30 in the morning. This is a great time to see the animals/birds. It was quiet and we could hear the Dingos howling in the distance. Don't miss the free flight bird show. It's very good. They provide you with a headset that you use around the park. Look for a half price coupon in tourist books at the airpport.

Anzac Hill for sunsets Best spot to watch the sunset over the Macdonnell Ranges from Alice is Anzac Hill. You can drive right to the summit or take the fairly easy climb up it from the far (North) end of the Todd Mall. Definitely worth it to watch the sun pass behind the Ranges and get those amazing colours.
