Hop on hop off bus The hop on hop off bus that takes you too many of touristy spots as well as the shopping area was fabulous since I did not hire a car.

go into town You read many thnigs about Alice Spring prior to leaving the UK and many make it sound unsafe and may put you off going outside of the hotel and into town...dont it worth seeing

Money & shopping When u book a tour make sure u check if entry fees to the attractions are included... we paid $40 per person for the "hop on" "hop off" tour around Alice but then it costs between $8 and $12 to enter the places as well which we were not told. There is not a lot of shopping available, only tourist shops selling same in each, The mall doesnt have a wide range for people in need of some retail therapy .
