The hotel provides good service for the group of business people accompanying me. The staff was responsive and friendly, and promptly provided the services we needed.
It is well located in Canberra and I would recommend the hotel to all business travelers who are looking for a good hotel at a good price.

Top Local Tips for Canberra

Erindale Shooping Centre - Surprising dining choice Canberra is unique in having many restaurants based in shopping centres. Erindale is a surprise only a short drive - 15 minutes - from Civic, and it has a broad variety of family run restaurants which represent great value and are a friendly relaxing place to have a meal with the family. The chinese restaurant there is excellent.

Getting around town 1) Like Washington, DC, Canberra is the location of the national museums. Unlike DC, the museums are not largely located in one area. Rather, they are spread out around town. Furthermore, while there are ample sidewalks, Canberra is not particularly easy to get around. In fact, getting from one location to another may require crossing some major roads. For instance, to walk from the Mantra to the Old Parliament House or National Library will require crossing the onramp that links Parkes Way, a busy thoroughfare, to Commonwealth Avenue, the main north-south road in the city. Distance is also an issue. I am a brisk walker, but it took me 40 minutes to get from the hotel to National Archives, which is located next to the Old Parliament House. To get from the Australian War Memorial, which is on the east side of town, to the National Museum of Australia, which is on the west wide, will take nearly an hour. If you are on a tight schedule or do not want to spend a lot of your time walking,
