Satisfaction guaranteed
I just left Hanoi and wanted to add my comment here. I did run into a problems -- people trying to take me to other hotels and forcing me to order tours right away. I left the first place I stayed (one night was enough!) and moved to a place I CAN recommend: Rising Dragon Hotel at 61 Hang Be street. The staff were great and let me be. When I asked, they answered all my questions and even encouraged me to go out and compare tour prices. They have a satisfaction guaranteed policy, and no one else would do that, so I booked with them. Also the rooms are very very nice and prices are quite reasonable. It seems as it travellers need to be careful and find a haven when you arrived. My advice is to check around if your hotel isn’t making you happy -- don’t give your money to people who are scam artists -- even for one day! Plus check the deals on tours outside your hotel! Anyone who won’t promise your money back is probably going to cheat you. Reply with Quote.

Service with Personal Touch!
The staff and the owners(Hieu and Ginger) of this hotel had made my stay in Hanoi rather hussle-free, and willingly running some errands for me (eg, book tickets for the puppet shown)at no extra cost). My room is at the back of the hotel, away from the street. Although there is no view for my room 504(think the bigger ones facing the main street probably have though),it worked for me, as it is thus not noisy. The room is cosy. Air-conditioned with TV and mini-bar, clean, hot-water shower and I appreciate the wifi-connection the most.
The 2 trips I have booked through the hotel had been great for the prices charged. This, I found out, when I checked with people who have booked with their respective hotels(the hotels all use the same tour group, but the price charges vary, depending on comissions they intend to earn).
I checked out before I went on my 2nd-day trip. However, not wanting to carry my luggage along, I left it in the hotel. The staff was willing to assist with car...Read more

Welcome
A friend living in Hanoi recommended it so I stayed here for the last week before flying to Hue. What a wonderful experience! The staff take good care of you without bugging you to buy tours -- which has happened in everyone of the 6 hotels i've already experienced on previous trips here. the american manager gave great tips on places to eat and see, plus the vietnamese manager set up all my visas and flights for much less than the internet advertised. I enjoyed everything and will definitely be back! Keep up the good work!

Excellent service
Tried this hotel because of positive internet reviews. Everything was very good and the staff were always available to help. Good rates and our tour to Sapa was exactly as promised. I’d recommend them highly to all.

Hieu the manager is an absolute STAR.
The Rising Dragon Hotel is beautifully clean, with decor that calms the tired travelers mind and body. The staff not only made me welcome but somehow after getting my credit card stuck in an ATM machine on a Friday night calmed me and assured me that they would retieve it. On my return from a two day trip to HaLong bay there it was. I can not praise the staff highly enough and I would recommend this hotel as a haven for any traveler. You will not find better through the whole of Asia. I give it Excellent Plus.
