Location, location, location!!!
Hanoi Lucky Hotel certainly met our needs. The staff were extremely friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The rooms were spacious and pleasantly decorated. The best feature of the hotel was its location. The hotel is central to the French and Old Quarters, 3 minutes walk to the lake with many restaurants nearby. The hotel looked after our luggage while we visited Sapa and Halong Bay. Upon return the hotel allowed us to shower before a flight home free of charge. The breakfasts were quite ordinary but adequate. We would most probably stay there again.

Then over the next day or so, he booked everything for me directly including hotels, flights, ground transportation, and a cruise in Ha Long Bay. After I left, he even checked in on me when I was in the next town to make sure that e...Read more
