We initially booked for two nights thinking we might change areas, however we found the hotel to be very conveniently located in the Old Quarter. The owner Mr Tommy and his staff were very friendly and helpful in everything we asked about. The information they provided on Hanoi was helpful and accurate. We booked a tour and train tickets through the hotel which was also very convenient. It was refreshing not to have hotel staff pushing and asking you to take tours all the time---in fact we were the ones to inquire. We would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a good, clean, friendly place to stay.

Pleasant Stay

My husband and I were in Hanoi for a concert and needed clean, comfortable lodging for one night that wasn't outrageously priced. We booked a stay at Asia Queen Hotel based on all of the good Tripadvisor reviews. The property is clean and located just off of I-4 and very convenient to Hoan Kiem Lake, Puppet Theatre and Shopping Centre. Our room was clean, and very spacious. Manager's evening reception was a nice plus - don't expect gourmet fare or anything of the sort - seems like the food was more geared to be kid-friendly, but hey, it saved us at least $20 on eating out. Continental breakfast was OK as well with free coffee, juice, eggs, as well as a waffle machine. I would definitely recommend this hotel to families or business travelers.

Me and my friends had a get-a-way weekend from our husbands to see a concert. After researching what seemed forever, we decided on this hotel, and I am glad we did. We checked in 30 minutes early, check-in was fast! The clerks at the desk where very nice. We got a top view room, it was over looking the highway. The windows where ceiling to floor basically, so the nightly view was gorgeous! The staff was very quick and efficient. When we got in our room the batteries where dead in the remote, I called front desk, within 5 minutes, maintenance knocked on door with fresh batteries. I felt very safe and secure, because security was always walking around the property. I was trying to come through the door with my luggage and the security man helped me with my bags and into my room. You don't see that often. The breakfast was good, and they let you take it back up to your room on trays. Always kept it well stocked. When they say black out curtains they aren't lying!! That was nice, when you wanted to be lazy and sleep in. The rooms do not have those floor air conditioners that make a lot of noise, all rooms had central air, with a digital thermostat to set the temperature. There where more than ample supplies of towels. The bed's where a dream! They had goose feather pillows. Each bed had 4 pillows and a spare in the closet, but we asked the maid for more, so we ended up with 10 pillows to snuggle with. Anything we asked of the maid, was always with a smile, never an attitude. The kitchen had everything you needed. This hotel had all the comfort of home! Check out was simple as well, you just called front desk tell them we are leaving, leave the keys on the table and your done. I highly recomment this hotel.

The hotel is in a very good location and our room was excellent. The pick up from the airport was very useful, especially as this was our first stop after a very long flight. The staff are helpful and we enjoyed an excellent trip to Halong Bay.

This is a fantastic new hotel. the room is great, nice, very cozy and clean. The amazing things is about their service. They have 18 rooms with 10 super friendly and effective staff ready to serve you whatever you need. When i arrive the first night and have a walk in the serrounding, the staff even told me i don't need a map as if i lost they will go look out for me! And the location is fantastic! just ONE minute walk TO HOAN KIEM Lake in Hanoi Old Quarter and this is the best place to go if you are in honeymoon. If you plan to have a city tour this is the best place to stay at as all the famous tourism area in hanoi is just within walking distant. I highly recommend anyone who come to hanoi to stay in Asia Queen hotel. I am regular traveller who went to a lot of country. This hotel offer by far the best service and room (within the price range) and certainly will exceed your expectation and super value for money.

When a mess has a name

We are a young couple who stayed in this hotel for 3 days since wanted to visit Hanoi and afterwards depart to Sapa. Our stay in this place was correct but totally desorganized, since it is run by a group of young people that sometimes render a service below expected (rooms not tidied when it was supposed to, no attendance when arriving late at night, etc.) But what was to worry is the quality of the excursions they offered: everything seemed clear and perfect but the reality was very different. Prices were higher than other places and excursions differed quite a lot from what we contracted. I would suggest to look for excursions in another place or at least compare services/rates.

"our stay here was short but very good - the staff were all very helpful and helped us sort out a trip to ha long bay, and when we got back, letting us use a room for free to shower before we went on a 20hr sleeper bus journey which again they booked for us. it might not be the cheapest to book everything through your hotel but getting picked up at the door is well worth it - hanoi's very easy to get lost in, believe me!! the hotel and service were top notch, we'd definitely stay here again. Sam, Prit and mike"
