We were at the hotel for 5 days and it was really great. The staff was helpful and very friendly and the location was just perfect near the lake in the old quarter. And even though Hanoi is a town with a lot of noise, the hotel and the rooms were very quiet. Our room was cheap, but extremely good. For 20 dollars you get air-condition, TV, good beds, very clean and good bathroom and a minibar. We ordered trips to Halong Bay and Sapa at the hotel, and both trips were probably the best we went on during our travelling in Vietnam. We spent 4 nights and 3 days in Sapa and we climbed the highest mountain in Vietnam (Fansipan) absolutely great. We really recommend you to go to the hotel and we recommend you to order your trips as well in hotel. You have to do it if you want an unforgettable trip!!!

Anh Toan Plaza Hotel is fantastic! It is more interesting to stay at the Old Quarters, near to Dong Xuan night market, Hang Gai, Hoan Kiem Lake and many good food places. I stayed at the Deluxe room with balcony on the 2nd floor. The room was clean and looked better than expected. It could have been more comfortable if it was carpet or parquet flooring. The bathroom was not perfect but was acceptable. I expected it to be noisy on the 2nd floor but surprisingly not. Service staff was friendly and ever ready to help with requests, be it charging my camera battery or helping us with directions. This is an interesting hotel to stay at, although not for people used to staying at expensive 2-star hotels. I recommend this hotel to those who are keen to experience Hanoi. "
