I really enjoyed my stay at Le Meridien Phuket. I stayed for 4 days at this wonderful hotel in Phuket, that is locatd so centrally to Patong town. Being welcomed with a cold towel and chilled drink along with the many warm smiles from the friendly and helpful staff made me forget about the humidity. I stayed in the junior suite which looked over their huge pools onto the beach, and had a wonderful basket of local fruits in my room everyday. Eating at the hotel at one of their 5 restaurants is adequate. Breakfast is ok, but the hot food like the bacon and sausages gets cold, my advice is to bring it round to the omelette booth and ask them to throw it back on the hotplace for a couple of minutes which they are happy to oblige. Being Australian, I love the beach and Le Meridien BY FAR has the BEST beach of all the other hotels I have stayed at, clear water, some waves and it's very private and a few minutes walk from the room.
