We recently stayed in a deluxe room at the Kata Thani Hotel. This was our honeymoon and what a perfect choice. Everything about the hotel is fantastic. The staff are so friendly and helpful, the food is amazing, the beach is beautiful, the pools are very clean and the gardens beautifully kept. The room we stayed in was well decorated and immaculately clean. When we arrived our bed was decorated with orchids, rose petal heart shapes and beautifully folded towels in the shape of swans. The rooms are well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Beach and bathroom towels are changed daily and the laundry service is a must and extremely reasonably priced. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone, from families with children to honeymoon couples. Situated on Kata Noi beech the Kata Thani is on a quiet stretch of Phuket. There are several restaurants nearby outside the hotel but the hustle and bustle of Kata is a short drive away, which we found to be the perfect balance. The ... Read more |

| Relaxing & Fantastic Service |

Can't say enough about this resort. Staff are very well-trained, friendly and accomodating. Every need and want is catered for. Can choose to sit by the pool or take a tuk tuk into town - everything is convenient, but far enough away from the noise to have serenity if you want it. Only complaint is Fisherman's Wharf Restaurant on site. It has terrible, tasteless, and very over-priced food. It was the only disappointing thing about our stay. Stay away from Fisherman's Wharf! |

| Excellent resort |

What a gem this resort turned out to be, we wanted something that was not far from the night life, however wanted something peaceful.
The staff were all very friendly and the rooms were well serviced. We stayed in the bhuri wing and although not having a huge view of the sea as its meant to be pool view, from our balcony we could see the ocean and see if the waves were up or not, only a few rooms can see the ocean. Also the Bhuri wing gave you the feeling of being in a smaller resort.
The Breakfasts were great and plenty to choose from and always fresh produce. The restaurants were also good although do not expect cheap food while dinning there.
The diving staff were helpful and very patient.
THe resort is just a short tuk tuk ride into Night life and a huge selection of Restaurants, but it was so nice to get back to the resort after being out and having a quiet soak in one of the many pools...ahhhhh bliss
Going back in july 07. |

| Perfect holiday |
|
We stayed with another couple in August/ September 2006. The weather was a mix of overcast and showers and fine sunny days. The hotel is true 5 star. We stayed in a Junior Room which was very comfortable. The resturants [except for the Fishermans wharf] were terrific and the setting-specially the beautiful beach, and ammenities outstanding. Staff most friendly and helpful and free bus to Phuket each day very useful. Quiet area and no high season crowds. Amazingly cheap and enjoyable holiday. |

This was our 3rd visit to Katathani Resort. 4Th visit is booked already! Unbelievably beautiful clean, well situated hotel. Set in seclusion on the best beach on the island. Rooms are beautifully clean with large oblong shower cubicals with decked flooring and water features (yes in shower)!!. Staff are very pleasant and eager to assist. Restaurants are wonderful. I stayed here one year for my honeymoon when the tsunami struck and the hotel management and staff were incredibly supportive to guests when they were suffering too, very comendable people indeed. Some sites label hotel as 4 star but its deffo a 5 star in my book. |
