Luxurious without being stuffy!

This is a luxurious hotel without being stuffy. We stayed in a superior room which was spacious and comfortable. Although the beds might be Queen sized by Thai standards, they were a little too small to accommodate two Europeans in comfort, but at least we had two. The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. The facilities were extremely good, if only you can find the energy to raise yourself from the sun-lounger. We particularly liked the smaller pool, which is actually deeper and cooler than the larger pool. We did find that the services were expensive (but I don't know if that is the Thai standard) with service charge & tax additional on all food, drink and laundry. However alternatives are all easily reachable. We would definitely return to this hotel.
