Disappointed!
From the photos and reviews we had read online, we were very excited to book our wedding party at this hotel. We felt so mislead that I am taking time to post a review so no one else deals with what we had to.
I will break it into smaller sections here:
Staff:
Most of the staff we encountered, especially in the lobby and on the beach were unfriendly and rude. Christophe (the Food and Beverage Manager) and his restaurant staff were good though.) As were the poor bell boys having to carry everyone's bags up all those stairs.
Beach:
The beach was disgusting. The sand was very rough and there was only a small area of it. The ocean infront of the hotel smells very bad because of the stagnant water in the lagoon. Hardly any guests even ventured into the water because of this. It is very murky as well. If one wades out past the sharp coral and muck, there is decent snorkeling though.
Rooms:
