| Customer friendly Beachcomber |
| This is a nice quiet hotel set on the beach at the quieter end of beach. The rooms are basic but very clean. The food is excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful. Do not expect a noisy party atmosphere in the evenings, though music in the evenings is provided by a duo that play a selection of tunes. The management is Swiss and is of the high standard one associates with that. The New Zealand Chef runs a good kitchen with a wide selection of International food. This is not a hotel for those who want a wild holiday, but is one for those who want a [pleasant relaxing holiday. Beach towels are provided and are changed daily. Sun beds and parasols are provided on the beach and are well managed by a pair of cheerful beach boys. There is massage and manicure facilities available. The Reception area is open fronted but small and not really suitable for long periods of sitting and social chat. The Reception staff is great and cannot do enough for you. They speak good English.
Guests are mainly from Australia, New Zealand, UK with some from Switzerland and Germany. The relaxing atmosphere leads to everyone mixing together. We have stayed there for a number of years and intend returning this year. It is a great place to relax and unwind. Bars etc are all within a very short stroll. Try it, it's great. |
