Service & Staff
My wife and self stayed at the hotel from 29th jan to 2nd.feb. We found the room service and food very good, but as published there were no bathrobes in the room, no newspapers given had to pay extra and as reported and complained in writing that we were charged for water from the fridge which we never consumed. It is their word against ours guests have to be extra careful, it is not the question of 164 bhats that we paid for a bottle of water but to pay for something not consumed I have complained in writing regarding this to the GM but no reply todate. When we tried to clarify the same with the staff at the reception a manager was called and the reply we got was that they cannot do anything as it is on the computor. My saying is that if someone empties the fridge does the guest have to pay. This has never happened to us anywhere in any hotel but yours.

Efficient service
I've was pleasantly surprised by the quality and efficiency of the service at the Rembrandt Hotel. I stayed at the Executive floor and the ladies there where very helpful. I had to organize a trip with the hotel limo (nice BMW's) to go around town to visit my clients. I gave them the business cards and asked them if they can coordinate with the limo to drive me to those places. No problem at all!! Driver new all the places (maybe I was lucky!) The rooms have a complete set of amenities a business traveller needs, the only thing is you need your own laptop, otherwise every is provided. Would recommend to anyone, especially the Executive floors.

What a rip-off!!!
My husband and I have been visiting Bangkok once or twice a year for 10 years. We never had problems with hotels (3-5 stars) but Rembrandt was definitely a bad choice.
1. Our room did not have Internet connection, although advertised. They wanted to charge 1200 THB plus to move us to a room with Internet access!
2. They did not allow any visitors on the room! We always had thai massage in our hotel room. In other hotels it was no problem at all. But at Rembrandt, they wanted to charge 1100 THB for one massage staff that we called from salon outside and that we already know. Sorry… we have to pay for 2 extra beds for having a thai massage in the room? That’s ridiculous! The thing is, that Rembrandt also has a SPA providing thai massage and they wanted us to use their services. Well they also have a restaurant, so next time they prohibit to bring in food?
Pretending to be a ‘morally clean’ hotel everything was in fact a matter of money.
