The Montien is a good choice if you like to go to Patpong Nightmarket and Silom Rd.
To the Skytrain and the Underground you walk about 5-7 Minutes. The snakefarm is just behind the hotel. So the location is good-if you come after afternoon you have to pass Patpong market what might be too much for families with children.
The service is good and friendly, the rooms clean and the restaurant for breakfast shows a big varierty of food in a good quality.
So if you like to stay in a good hotel and in an interesting BKK area THe Montien is a good choice.
